A guide to contributing resources

How do I submit resources to Teaching World?

To contribute a resource to the site click on one of the various 'submit resources' links which will take you to the submit resources page. Complete the form with your name, email and a short description of the resource you are submitting (topic, level, etc.). Then click the 'browse' button to find the file on your computer followed by submit. If this fails or you would like to submit more than one resource at a time please email: resources@teachingworld.co.uk - again remembering to include the above information.

What type of classroom resources can I submit?

We will accept resources from any subject area for any level including worksheets, games, presentations, schemes of work, lesson plans, class activities, assembly ideas, etc.

Are there any restrictions on submitting resources?

Teaching World can't accept any resources or materials that infringe copyright. This means you must own the copyright of the materials you submit or have permission to use the copyrighted material in your work. Things to consider before you submit your resources are whether you have used copyrighted photographs/images, large sections of text that have been cut and pasted from websites without permission or reference, scanned images/text from books, worksheets/sections from commercial books/websites, etc. All resources are checked prior to publishing on the website and therefore if we feel that copyright is being infringed upon we reserve the right to reject these contributions.

Will I get paid for submitting resources?

We do not pay for contributions. The ethos behind the website is 'sharing good practice' and all resources are donated freely by educational practicioners from around the globe.

I have submitted resources, when will they appear on the website?

There may be a short delay between submitting resources to the site and then seeing them appear. There are a large number of resources submitted to the website which then have to be checked to make sure they can be published. This can take a little while to complete so please be patient.

Will I receive any recognition for contributing to Teaching World?

Credit will clearly be given to you for every resource submitted to the website with your name appearing next to the resource link. Also, you be given a special mention on the Teaching World community 'Hall of Fame' page.
